Although today Flock Hill is best known for its dramatic landscapes and its 36,000 acre high country sheep station, it has also played an important role in New Zealand's Maori history and the colourful West Coast stage coach days.
Flock Hill Station is owned by the University of Canterbury and leased by Flock Hill Holdings.
